The boom system is hydraulically operated, allowing for two distinct operating modes to maximize performance. Its main boom achieves a maximum height at the tip of 45.1 m, which can be extended significantly up to 61.2 m with the optional 9.5 m/16 m variable jib. The crane's continuous 360° slewing rotation is controlled by a hydraulic motor, making it highly efficient for positioning loads across the job site.

Engineered for superior off-road capability, the ZRT600 is powered by a reliable CUMMINS QSB6.7 Diesel Engine (Stage V - Euromot 5) with a maximum power output of 194 KW (260 HP) at 2400 rpm. The power is managed by an electrically controlled DANA Powershift Transmission featuring 6 forward and 6 reverse gears, coupled with a torque divider. The machine's agility is enhanced by its full-hydraulic steering system, which offers four distinct steering modes: front-wheel steering, rear-wheel steering, coordinated steering, and crab steering, enabling optimal maneuverability on complex or constricted terrain.

The operator's experience is prioritized with a modern cabin that can hydraulically tilt by 20°, reducing neck strain during high-angle lifting operations. The cabin features large windows for panoramic visibility, an ergonomic seat adjustable in height and depth, and an integrated hot/cold air conditioning system. For control, movements are managed by two ergonomically placed, hydraulically controlled joysticks. Safety and monitoring are centralized via a 14" main display for both travel and crane functions, supported by a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) with a 7" color touchscreen, which includes an anti-two block system, movement locking with alarms, and automatic recognition of the stabilizer configuration.
